I like when my teacher sings to me in the morning! We all remember Southampton (U.K. 2010 summer courses with Martin) with love.Maria García, (left of picture), former public course E.S.L. student, Valencia, Spain
Martin is a kind, patient and unaffected teacher.I regularly went to his lessons because they were very useful and pleasant for me. What helped me especially was creating sentences out of words that Martin wrote on a blackboard. After a year long study of English I passed the FCE examination. I have worked for three months with a municipal council. And do you know what was chief the requirement for getting the job? Communication in English!Nela Marešová, Bc., former ADP postgraduate course student, Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, Czech Republic
I'd like to have lessons with Martin in the futureThe thing that I liked best about Martin's lessons was the end lesson... music from his guitar... I'd like to have lessons with Martin in the future because of his perfect manners... and the nice way he explains things.Santino Testarella, former public course E.S.L. student, Tivoli, Italy
Martin‘s lessons helped me make considerable progress in English.I had been studying English for many years and before I joined his course I had a feeling that I had been stagnating some time. Martin’s way of teaching was thought out and enjoyable, which helped me concentrate even after hard day’s at work. Of all the courses I have ever attended it is Martin’s that reminds me, in respect of its conception and methods, most of language courses in London where I later had the chance to study English at a school recognized by the British Council.Jan Iraku, former language course student, Vsetín, Czech Republic
Martin's lessons were interactive with a convivial, friendly atmosphereI would be very happy to have lessons with Martin again. He was my first teacher from my first day at Southampton and he put me at ease straightaway. I really liked his teaching style.
version française :J'ai bien aimé que les cours avec Martin soient interactifs avec une ambiance conviviale. Ça me ferait plaisir d'avoir à nouveau des cours avec Martin. D'abord c'est le premier prof que j'ai eu lors de mon premier jour à Southampton (en Angleterre) et il m'a mis tout de suite à l'aise. J'aimais beaucoup sa façon d'enseigner.Xavier Ganga, former public course E.S.L. student, Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, France
Martin gave structure for us to learn activelyThere are many websites with English. They are good for a passive learning but for active learning is important to have a lesson with a teacher and to talk – more than the teacher. Martin gave structure for us to do this. As well as humour.Taisia Davidová, former corporate student at Komerční banka, Vsetín, Czech Republic
